Lego Speech
I will keep my speakturn about Lego.
Lego was invented by Ole Kirk Christiansens.
Ole Kirk was a carpenter.
He mostly wooden kitchen gear and ironing boards.
At that time, many things in wood.
For his son Godtfred he occasionally wooden toys.
And so did Ole the first building blocks that later would be our Lego bricks.
After World War II went to Ole plastic building blocks.
The blocks were first round knobs on the top and were hollow at the bottom. Later this was improved by tubes in the underside of the tiles in place. This allowed them more ways to be connected. But the stones were of poor quality and did not sell so well. In 1958 Ole Kirk died and his son took over his company. Slowly, the quality of the stones better and sold the stones better. After a fire in the factory decided to only make plastic stones. From then it was really good with Lego.

later still primo for baby's and Lego Technic.
